I walk into a coffee shop and see my ex, who I’m still fucking, though he’s dating someone new. I’m trying to stay attached to him for whatever reason, though none of it feels good. When he sees me walk in, there is no warmth—he just warns me that his new partner is on her way. I don’t mind, though. I want to be here and can enjoy myself regardless.
